Summer Camps
ITMP is excited to announce our camp line-up for the 2026 season. Like last year, camps will be held at both the Novi Civic Center (Novi Registration) and the Marquis Theatre in Northville (Marquis Registration). Registration is now open for both locations! Note: no camps week of July 20 - 24th.
Rising Stars - Fairly Odd Actors
Novi Civic Center - June 15th - 18th (4 day)- 9am - 1pm
What happens when the characters of fairytales are just a little… off. A group of aspiring actors find out as they navigate the fairytales of their youth and help them figure out what’s wrong with each story! Then, how do they FIX all their problems, and can they do it before anyone else figures it out! This camp is targeted for young performers with little/no theatre experience. The camp will give performers a feel for being on stage and will include: singing, acting and dancing! Family and friends are welcomed to watch our performers take the stage in a small production that will be performed on the last day of camp. This camp is open to ages 4-8.
Rising Stars - Old vs. New Broadway
Novi Civic Center - June 22nd - 26th- 9am - 1pm
What’s better, Broadway before the 2000s or after? This story will follow a group of actors who are comparing some of the traditional songs to the new modern broadway while the “Battle of Broadway” is happening! Who will win, and who will be the judge? This camp is targeted for young performers with little/no theatre experience. The camp will give performers a feel for being on stage and will include: singing, acting and dancing! Family and friends are welcomed to watch our performers take the stage in a small production that will be performed on the last day of camp. This camp is open to ages 4-8.
All Things - Wicked and Hamilton Camp
Marquis Theatre - June 22nd - 26th - 9am - 2pm
This high-energy and fun-filled theatre camp dives into the worlds of Wicked and Hamilton, exploring the music, history, movement, and storytelling that make both shows iconic. Campers sing, move, and perform inspired material while building confidence, creativity, and performance skills in a fun, ensemble-driven environment that celebrates bold choices and big talent. This camp is open to grades 3rd - 12th.
Rising Stars - Students vs. Teachers
Novi Civic Center - June 29th - July 2nd (4 day)
9am - 1pm
The kids are fed up, the teachers are fed up, the school is getting torn apart! What happens when both groups think they’re better than the other? Will the school come crashing down, or will they work together to build it up? This short 3 scene story captures the art of getting along and making compromises! This camp is targeted for young performers with little/no theatre experience. The camp will give performers a feel for being on stage and will include: singing, acting and dancing! Family and friends are welcomed to watch our performers take the stage in a small production that will be performed on the last day of camp. This camp is open to ages 4-8.
Seasons of Love Cabaret
Marquis Theatre - June 29th - July 2nd (4 day)
9am - 2pm
Musical Theatre should be enjoyed year round- so we want to celebrate all the Broadway songs that speak to the seasons. Campers will spend the week playing theatre games, perfecting choreography and learning to sing seasonal songs from well known Broadway classics like Carousel, Damn Yankees, and The Secret Garden; as well more modern favorites such as Rent, Frozen, Anastasia and American Idiot. Join us as we pack a whole year of seasonal showtunes into one week of fun. We will end our week with a cabaret performance for friends and family. This camp is open for performers 3rd - 12th grade.
Script Writing Camp
Novi Civic Center - July 6th - July 10th
9am - 1pm
Script writing camp is a creative, hands on program designed for campers who love to tell stories, use their imagination and create worlds of their own! Through fun exercises, group discussions, games and guided writing sessions campers will explore dialogue, script structure, creating worlds and building story arcs! Campers will get the opportunity to display their very own script at the end of the week for family and friends. This camp is available for 5th to 12th grade.
Choreography Craze Camp
Novi Civic Center - July 6th - July 10th
9am - 2pm
Choreography Craze Camp is a high-energy, skill-building experience where campers explore the fundamentals of ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, and modern dance while learning exciting choreography inspired by popular Broadway shows. Through guided instruction and ensemble practice, participants build technique, musicality, and confidence as they discover how different dance styles come together to support storytelling and performance on the stage. This camp is open for performers 3rd - 12th grade.
Once Upon A Time Cabaret Camp
Novi Civic Center - July 13th - July 17th
9am - 2pm
Every Cabaret has a fairytale ending at our Once Upon a Time Cabaret camp. Campers will enjoy a week of singing, and dancing to popular Broadway songs all based around the theme of fairy tales. Campers will work collaboratively to create dynamic cabaret numbers, build confidence, creativity and strong performance skills. At the end of the week, we’ll put it all together for a high energy Cabaret that will be performed for friends and family! Come ready to move and sing your heart out to this light-hearted camp. This camp is available for 3rd to 12th grade.
Improv and AdLib Camp
Marquis Theatre - July 13th - July 17th
9am - 1pm
Improv and Ad-Lib Camp is a fast-paced, laughter-filled theatre experience focused on creativity, quick thinking, and teamwork. Campers learn the fundamentals of improvisation and adlib through games, exercises, and scene work that build confidence, listening skills, and spontaneity, all while embracing the fun of making it up in the moment in a supportive, high-energy environment. This camp is open to grades 5th - 12th.
Creative Conditioning For the Stage Camp
Novi Civic Center - July 27th - July 30th (4 day)
9am - 2pm
This theatre conditioning summer camp is an energetic, movement-focused program that helps students bring stories to life through their bodies. Campers explore stage movement through dance, stage combat, physical exercise, and motivated movement, learning how motion supports character, emotion, and storytelling. Through guided sessions and ensemble-based activities, participants build strength, coordination, spatial awareness, and confidence while discovering how purposeful movement enhances performance on stage. This camp is available for 3rd to 12th grade.
Pink Goes Good With Green Cabaret Camp
Novi Civic Center - June 15th - 18th (4 day) - 9am - 2pm
This high-energy cabaret-style theatre camp is inspired by Wicked and brings Broadway music and spirit to life through singing and dancing. Campers perform dynamic musical numbers and expressive choreography in a lighthearted, supportive environment that celebrates individuality, friendship, and confidence, while building strong performance skills and having a blast on stage. Come ready to dance and sing your heart out to songs from Wicked, and other Broadway shows! We will end our week with a cabaret show for friends and family. This camp is open to grades 3rd - 12th.
Actors at the Ready - Scenes and Solos
Marquis Theatre - July 27th - July 31st
9am - 2pm
Actors at the Ready is a focused, skill-building theatre camp designed to help campers become stronger, more confident performers through scene and song work. Participants explore acting techniques, vocal performance, and storytelling while practicing how to prepare, rehearse, and perform with intention, giving every camper the tools they need to step onstage ready to shine. If your camper is looking to strengthen their theatre skills this is the camp to attend! This camp is open to grades 3rd - 12th.
Musical Intensive Camp - Hadestown Youth
Marquis Theatre - Aug 3rd - 7th, Aug 10-14th
9am - 2pm
The camp season ends with a two-week musical production. At the end of the two weeks, we will perform our production on the beautiful Marquis stage for friends and family. Registration includes two free tickets. Additional tickets will be available for sale! This camp is available for 3rd to 12th grade.
